Sonoma Woman Heals: Health is at Your Fingertips
Sonoma Woman

Reduced to these matter-of-fact elements, Deborah Meyers’
life might seem somewhat cut and dry. Not true. An intuitive
who obviously follows her instincts, she describes how she and
her family discovered Sonoma County. "We were so happy
in Colorado, we loved the mountains, we were never going to
move. We came out to visit Randy’s (my husband’s) parents
in Carmel, borrowed a car, plopped the kids in and just
started traveling the backroads. It was beautiful, misty, and
driving toward Santa Rosa, I said to my husband, 'I know
we’re not planning to move, but this is where we are coming.'
We got home, I put together a resume and started getting job
interviews. We decided to move. A teacher at the local high
school in Colorado called us and said, ‘If you ever decide to
move I’m buying your house.’ Next thing we knew, we were
here. That was 1989—the best move we ever made."
