Integrating
& Harmonizing Body, Mind and Spirit
Deborah Myers, Certified Acupressurist and Jin Shin
Jyutsu practitioner, is a graduate of the Acupressure
Institute, Berkeley, CA and has trained under several
Jin Shin Jyutsu masters. She has also studied Touch
for Health, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Tui Na, intuitive
healing, and has extensive training in women’s
health issues. Her background includes degrees in sociology
and psychology and careers as a counselor, mediator,
and financial consultant.
After a car accident in which
Deborah received major injuries, she experienced healing
through acupressure, Jin Shin and acupuncture. Desiring
to find out why these treatments worked when everything
else had been unsuccessful, Deborah began studying both
Jin Shin Jyutsu and acupressure. She now uses her knowledge
of the body, mind and spirit gained from her training
and experience to assist others in their search for
pain relief, stress reduction and healing. In her work,
Deborah uses a blend of bodywork techniques which stimulate
the body’s natural healing process.
About
Jin Shin Jyutsu
Jin Shin Jyutsu is a natural art of healing which is
able to release tensions and restore an individual's
physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance. Through
Jin Shin Jyutsu our awareness is awakened to the simple
fact that we are endowed with the ability to harmonize
and balance ourselves.
According to ancient written records,
which remain in the Archives of the Imperial Palace
in Japan, Jin Shin Jyutsu was widely known before the
birth of Gautama (Buddha, India), before the birth of
Moses (recorded in the Bible), and before the Kojiki
(Record of Ancient Things - Japan, A.D. 712).
